Community Development Grant Scheme

In 2011 Tolka Area Partnership secured funding for a small grant scheme to support community development type activities in local groups and organisations.
The scheme was open to all community based groups and organisations working within the Tolka Area Partnership area.

We anticipate that a similar grant will be available in 2012. Check our website for updates on grant availability.

In 2011 the grant was available to groups to undertake work in the following two areas:

1.       Social Inclusion Grant
Promoting and supporting the participation of key target groups of the Local and Community Development Programme into the wider social, cultural and economic life of the community.

2.       General Grant
Small scale projects that promote community development type activities at a local level and build community capacity and links within the community and outward to statutory agencies. Examples include: estate cleanups, neighbourhood renewal, community arts projects etc.
